Promising teenage bowling all-rounder James Minto has signed a two-year professional contract with Durham. The 18-year-old left-armer has taken 14 wickets in seven first-class matches since his debut at 16. His best figures of 5-21 came against Zimbabwe A in Harare. The deal extends his career with the county beyond a rookie contract.

Minto's progression follows his maiden first-class game two years ago. The new agreement runs until the end of the 2028 season. His performances have secured a longer-term commitment from Durham's management. The young bowler continues to develop within the club's structure.
