Amir Jangoo has been named in the West Indies T20I squad for the upcoming series against India as a replacement for Jewel Andrew. Andrew suffered a finger injury during the third ODI on 3 October. The incident happened while he took a catch off Gudakesh Motie's bowling, resulting in a blow to his finger. He underwent an x-ray and further evaluation, with no fracture detected.

The West Indies have confirmed Jangoo's inclusion as cover for Andrew. The five-match T20I series against India will proceed with the updated squad. No details about Andrew's availability for the T20Is have been provided, but the team has made preparations for the series with the new addition.
