South Africa have included Matthew Breetzke in their Test squad after a heavy defeat by Australia, replacing Tristan Stubbs. Breetzke, described as an 'Aussie agitator,' has previously scored a century against Australia in an ODI. Stubbs was omitted after low scores in the first Test.

Wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne will not keep wicket in the second Test, with Ryan Rickelton set to take over. Breetzke and uncapped Marques Ackerman are likely to feature in the top order, signaling changes to the batting lineup.
