England White-Ball Squad Includes Bethell and New Prospects

Jacob Bethell will rejoin the England white-ball squad for the upcoming tour of Australia after recovering from a knee injury sustained in July. His return coincides with the inclusion of 18-year-old Somerset wicketkeeper-batter Thomas Rew and 21-year-old Hampshire pace bowler Eddie Jack, who receive their first international call-ups. The team is assembled with a near-full-strength lineup for the three one-day internationals.

England has made adjustments for the five T20 matches, resting some players ahead of the Test tour of South Africa. Bethell, who has not played since July, is part of the squad for the limited-overs series, while Rew and Jack are named as emerging talents in the selection.
