Pat Cummins is set to make selection decisions ahead of the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town. The Australian captain is considering potential changes as Cameron Green and Josh Inglis return from injury. The second Test saw Australia struggle with batting, managing only 99 in their first innings. Nic Maddinson and Beau Webster also performed below expectations, while Marnus Labuschagne faces scrutiny after a prolonged drought without a Test century.

The series remains tied at 1-1 following South Africa's victory in Gqeberha. Cummins will assess the team's composition for the final match, which could determine the outcome of the ICC World Test Championship. The availability of Green and Inglis adds options for the Australian side as they prepare for the decisive contest.
