Australia captain Pat Cummins has confirmed speaking with Usman Khawaja about his upcoming autobiography but expressed no concerns over potential revelations. The two players shared 56 Test matches together during their careers. Australia's current Test series in South Africa follows the 2018 ball-tampering scandal, which led to bans for Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft.

The series marks Australia's first Test in South Africa since the scandal.
