England's updated list of contracted players features Brydon Carse, who remains under investigation for an incident in August. The pace bowler has appeared in 14 Tests and 44 white-ball matches. He was arrested but later de-arrested, with Derbyshire Police taking no action. The Cricket Regulator has since charged him. Carse's contract, renewed last year, runs until the autumn of 2027.

Director of cricket Rob Key has expressed confidence in Carse's potential to represent England again. The 31-year-old is among 39 players named in the latest contract announcement. No further details about the investigation or regulatory proceedings have been disclosed. The situation remains unresolved as the season progresses.
