James Anderson's tenure with Lancashire will conclude as the club has decided not to offer him a new contract. The 44-year-old, who made his first-team debut in 2001, will leave Old Trafford after 25 years of association. His departure follows Lancashire's decision to release him from the team he first represented professionally.

A number of counties have expressed interest in speaking with Anderson should he decide to continue playing beyond the current season. The veteran's career, spanning over two decades, has seen him establish himself as a key figure in English cricket. His future remains uncertain as he evaluates potential options for the upcoming summer.
